Using Oatmeal and Honey

How would I know how much oatmeal and honey to use in a recipe being that it is not an oil and not on a lie calculator?

I use about an ounce of honey ppo and a tablespoon or two of ground oatmeal in a three pound batch. I think we all do it a bit differently.

1-2 tsp per pound of oil is enough.
