uses for metal tins

i bought a ton of these metal tins to house my bath salts, only to find that they started corroding! i had to throw out a bunch of tins because of this and i don't know what to do with the tins. i already have another size of the same tins for candles, so candles are out of the question.

any ideas would be a great help!

Do you have a picture? There are so many things you can do with tin depending on their shape and size. I'm thinking lip balm, salve, lotion bars as marilynmac suggested. Do you sell your products? You could always use these tins as a different size candle to offer to customers. If not, repurpose them for yourself, spices, candy, hold odd and end screws, nuts, bolts. So many things!
