I need suggestions please before I injure myself any further.

I made some MP soap yesterday that looks like fruit slices (and smells like mango papaya, holy cow mmm). I molded the center pieces in a piece of PVC, I didn't coat the inside of the PVC with anything, and it popped right out. So I figured, hey, ok, its pretty easy to unmold - just push and viola! So I cut up my center "fruit" pieces, arranged them inside the larger peice of PVC, and poured my "fruit peel". It set up, so I went to unmold it too. Heh...

Herein lies my problem - this one WILL NOT come out of the stupid piece of PVC. I have tried pushing on it until my arms ache, I have stuck it on top of a can of veggies (the can BENT!!), I even had my husband try, and he couldn't get it either. I even poured a little bit of water into the end of the PVC, hoping it would lube it up...

Is there anything I can do to get it out of the mold? I looks really cool, and if I can avoid having to remelt it all, that would be awesome. Its just sitting there - mocking me....

I hate when that happens! I have quite a few things (mostly ugly soap) that do that to me.

Try putting the pipe in the freezer for awhile. Then quickly run it under hot/warm water and push the soap out.

Great advice from Digit (as usual). This should do the trick. Let us know how it went.

Yes, digit has the answer, if there is one

Freezing thoroughly then sitting in a hot water bath for a bit usually works for my MP if it's stuck, although I use individual moulds and just sit them on the water......good luck and please let us know how you get on. Also with MP after freezing it will attract a lot of moisture from the air as it defrosts on your bench or wherever......perhaps placing under a ceiling fan or in a breeze-way will clear that up for you before you package it

Thanks!

That sure did the trick. I didn't even have to put hot water to it. Just took it out of the freezer, pushed a bit, and the soap shot out of the mold and across the counter. Scared the crap out of me when it did too lol, I wasn't expecting it to come out!
