I am so done with this Starlight Green Mica from The Conservatorie. It just turns a muddy grey :( The blue turned out nice and the base is a light yellowish beige, but the light green just turned grey. Ick.

At least it smells good - spearmint + lime EO blend with lime peel powder added.

When are you adding the lime powder? Are you adding it with the green mica? That could certainly make it muddy gray.

No, I added the powder with the oils and combined them all together before adding the lye mixture, then after trace I divide out into pitchers with the color. This is like the 3rd time that mica has turned grey on me :(

I hate it when my soap doesnt turn out like the way I envisioned it and after being so carefully planned... i feel ya :) This soap reminds me of the gray seattle skies around here.... with the streaks of occasional blue sky and the beige is like the clouds lol! ok...im a dork 8) lol
