Type of bubbles honey adds?

What is the quality of the bubbles or lather does honey make? Is it creamy bubbles or large, airy bubbles like coconut oil?

Or, to put it another way, is your soap made with honey more creamy then without it?

How much honey do you use ppo?

I get larger fatter bubbles with honey, sugar, fruit juices, etc.

For honey I use 1 TBSP ppo. But I think most soapers use less than that, like 1 tsp honey ppo because it can cause overheating.

I agree with Genny. I get larger, fatter bubbles with honey.

I like to use 1 tablespoon ppo, and I mix it right into my cooled lye solution. Ever since I started doing that (adding it to my cooled lye water), I no longer get any overheating, or weepy issues in my soap from the honey.
