Two funerals and a hero's homecoming.

It's been a devastating couple of weeks for us. While counting down the days until my last Army guy returned from Afghanistan, 2 family members died....including his father, who died unexpectedly. Ray is a Capt. in the Army Rangers, this is him before he left. It's heartbreaking that his proud father wasn't there to welcome him home.

Sorry all, I may not have been clear, Ray is fine, joining his brother who returned 2 months ago. It's their dad and aunt who died.

We've been home since Monday and getting back to normal. Hopefully that will soon mean back to SMF and Soaping!

Very sorry for your family losses. Might sound corny, but maybe your first soap back could be a commemorative event. Maybe even a donation to vets. Just a thought.
