Hi, just wondering if someone knows of a tutorial on how to change the wires on the Commercial Quick Cutter a.k.a. "The Tank". We have been trying to replace some broken wires but they are not staying tight.

Did you visit the site where you bought it? I'm drawing a blank on the company I bought mine from.. I know somebody else will know. You could check youtube - they have videos for everything soapmaking, lol. Just a word of caution - make sure your wires are nowhere near an electrical outlet. My DH changed my wires the first time and one of them went wild and hit the outlet. Blew the fuse and black char was everywhere!

Yikes, Ive changed wires a million times and never thought of that! (sorry soapsy, not on a tank though) You should post that in the suggestions thread. And, glad everyone is ok!

Once we knew the house wouldn't burn down, it was kind of funny. Takes a lot to startle my husband, but that did it. :)

Thanks savonierre. We bought it from For Crafts Sake and I couldn't find anything on their site about changing wires. We found that video right after I posted on here. Our tank works great now :)

For Crafts' Sake - that's it!! :) Ay carumba, I'm getting old. They don't have a tutorial on their site? They really should...
