Hi All! I have been wanting to make soap for about a decade now and am finally going to do it (well, at least rebatch it...)
I have a three pound wood mold, looking to rebatch and would like to make something Christmas-y woods-y smelling for holiday gifts.
Does anyone have a suggestion for a blend of (preferrably essential) oils that would fit the bill? I appreciate any thoughts you might want to share:) Thank you!

Welcome Beauregard! :)

I don't use EOs for my soap, so I can't recommend a Christmas/woodsy EO blend, but Peak's sells some really nice Christmas FOs that I recently tested in my soap. My favorites were (are):

-Winter Wonderland- fits the woodsy/piney Christmas scent perfectly
-Bayberry
-Spruce Berry (much more sweet than woodsy, but a nice sugary pine scent)
-Spiced Cranberry

IrishLass :)

Thanks for the suggestions! I will be giving most of the soap away as gifts (if it turn out of course  ) so the EO is really my personal preference and I don't think my giftees care eaither way. Thanks again they sound great! P.S. I have spent most of the day browsing the forums and am so happy to have found it! So much info! Thank you!
