translucent soap

OK so my husband wants me to make him a soap with the Subaru emblem. And I bought the colors for it and everything but I'm.finding that mica works best in translucent soap. I saw a tutorial on soaping 101 and I think I can do it (just wish it didn't take so long) does anyone have any insight on making it? Like how much alcohol ppoo should I use? And how much sugar?

It does take a little while, but once you have made one batch, it will go much faster the next time.
