http://www.tradekey.com has anyone use this website, to try ordering supplies (e.g. butters & oils) through this site, using some of companies, exporters, distributors, etc?

I tried a few times. It took weeks to get a response for one request for info and nothing on my other requests.

Thanks Marie! Do you know of any other similar sites where I'd maybe receive a quicker response to any requests for supply info? I don't know what in particular items, you're looking for, but have you tried contacting Fair Trade Federation & World Fair Trade Organization?

No I haven't. I was looking to order 2000 soap savers and also looking for info on palm and palm kernel oils. I fianlly got an offer to sell me 5000 soap savers and nothing on the oils.

Tradekey is tricky , you have to view the vendors record and ask if they have credit card or paypal payments. I have found many vendors ( non soap related products) that are legit. Some don't respond if you do not send message in the day time around their time. Also look for vendors that have signed in or is active.

I am on tradekey and alibaba there is also tradeindia. you can find some good sources in all three websites.
