So I recently diluted a couple of batches of liquid soap and I used the method of thickening that FGOriold explains in her blog, and well long story short I thickened them too much. :problem: So I am wondering if I can add heated distilled water to make the batch thinner?? I used the HEC thickener from Lotion Crafter's.

Yes - you can thin it out with additional distilled water. I would make sure to heat the water to boiling or heat and hold at 140 for 20 minutes to make sure it is completely sanitized. Do small amounts at a time so that you don't thin it out too much.

Thank you so much! By the way I have learned a good amount about liquid soap from you so thank you for that as well. :D
