Tinosan working for you?

I've made a face lotion that I love, and used tinosan as the preservative, but it's started to grow a little mold after about 3 weeks. I do use my fingers in it, but only after a shower so they are as clean as possible. I'd hate to see if I used dirty fingers! I'm using .5%, it recommends .3%. Anyone know what's going on?

Tinosan failed for me also. I no longer use it.

I only use Tinosan for deodorants... never even tried it for a preservative....
