The tiger stripe technique has always intimidated me for some reason. But I decided it was time to go big or go home.

Pretty happy I did, too! I'm so pleased with the way this came out.

I used the tiger stripe technique! Basically, putting a line of soap batter down the middle of the mold, and pouring alternating colors on top of that line until out of soap. I brought my batter to barely a medium trace before starting, and that helped make the distinct lines but also allowed the weight of the soap to press each layer down a little.

Ah ok well i made mine by tilting the mould on something then pouring the batter in at about medium trace. Thats mine think they came out but jelious of yours now because well they are just better

Those are very lovely! I didn't tilt my mold, just went straight down the center. I also poured very small amounts of the black and orange and yellow, and larger amounts of the white, which made the accent colors a little thinner in the final soap. :)
