Hi all,

I did three batches of soap today, one too many, I was whooped out. I made shaving soap with 4 different fragrance for the ladies. No color and difference was from the fragrance oils only.
In the molds

2 E/O Blends from Rainbow Meadows Blend page,
Dude, (Frankincense, Myrrh, Sandalwood and Patchouli) Smells great, hoping it might darken with cure.

And the last one was in the vertical mold, Renaissance (Bulgarian Lavender, Sweet Orange and Patchouli)

Thanks for looking, have a good soaping weekend.

Beautiful, I really like the last one. the color is very nice. I haven't tried oxide yet. Do you mix it with oil before adding to soap batter?
I made three batches today too. I am going to cut mine tomorrow.

I usually mix my colors (oxides, pops or micas) with glycerin in a measuring cup (if I'm going to use for swirls) or today I did it in little rubbermaid rounds and scrapped into my two container that I split the soap into. The only color I have trouble with clumps tends to be the white (titanium dioxide).

Is the TD oil or water soluble? If it's oil soluble, you will have problems with clumping with glycerin. If it's oil soluble, add a small amount of any of your soapmaking oils. That should mix it. If it's water soluble, the glycerin should work.
