Just a simple in-the-pot swirl, but it was my first go with more than 2 colours. :)

I also opted to keep the stick blender in it's drawer this time and brought the soap to trace by hand. Probably not something I'll do again (so loooooong), but it was a worthwhile exercise and I think I've a much better understanding of trace now (and of just how much I was previously over-mixing)!

Scented with eucalyptus, cedarwood, lemongrass, amyris, and just a hint of chamomile.

And yes, that is a giant box of pull-ups in the background... ;)

Lovely colors!! And well done on your first 3-color swirl!
I just got some amyris and love the smell oob (very delicate and a little sweet). Does it hold up in your soap?

Thanks all!!

@szaza Sadly I haven't had amyris long enough to be able to tell you whether ot sticks or not yet (I've also not been soaping enough to give you a long-time answer), but I've a feeling it's more of one of those EOs where it sort of melds into / adjusts the scent of whatever it's used with rather than standing out on it's own. A bit sad as I too find it to be quite lovely, but that also makes a beautiful base.

Well done. Love the swirls and colors.
Which colors did you use?
FYI to my fellow Ontarian...
I was ordering quite a bit from Nurture soap, but recently got charged $100 custom fees!!! Yes my order was a bit hefty, $260...
All my smaller orders were not charged customs...

OUCH! A big order, yes, but that's still a hefty fee to be applied!!

I've been dinged a few too many times with customs so stick to Canadian suppliers whenever I can these days. Insofar as soaping goes, I've been buying my EOs and (most) of my base materials from New Direction Aromatics (they do have a $100 minimum to avoid an admin charge - but shipping is reasonable) and all of my colours / molds from Voyageur Soap (no minimum but slightly heftier shipping as they are in BC). So far, I'm pretty happy with both!

On that note, the colours are just a straight black oxide, titanium dioxide, and a really pretty mica from Voyageur called Colonial Blue. :)

The pull ups box colors complement it well. Hope potty training is going as well as your soaping.

HA HA HA! Why thank you - apparently props work!
And I'm half convinced soaping has come about as a venue to vent potty-training frustrations.... Child, why do you pee on the floor 5 inches from the potty!?!?

It's lovely. I don't use my stick blender nearly as much as I used to in the beginning...I like the tactile feel of mixing in my ingredients and it gives me longer to 'play'.
