This weeks soap. ..

Here are my two soaping trials for this week. This was my first attempt at a salt bar. I colored with paprika and used pink sea salt at 75%. I was hoping to get a peach color with the paprika but I think the yellow color of the tangerine EO I used overpowered. I wanted the pink color of the salt to come through..


This is my second soap. It's scented with Peak Pomegranate. I wanted to try adding drops of M&P ( colored with food coloring)to my CP. I like the effect, but wish I'd added a bit of TD to the mix. I'm learning that each batch has its own disappointment and victory. I'm loving the learning process though! Thanks for looking

They both look really nice! Even though they didn't come out as planned they both look lovely and you will enjoy using them. I know what you mean about disappointments and victories and can't wait until there are more victories/less disappointments :wink: But I love a challenge so it makes it worth it all.

I like both.. the 2nd reminds me of little berries in cream!
I also do M&P a bit and just did gingerbread men. LOL
