Unfortunately I live in a remote area that does not have an arts and crafts community.

I'm unable to get any arts & craft supplies for my soap making, however the chemicals suppliers have offered to supply the following Glycols but I have no idea which one to use to make a MP soap base.

  • Mono Propylene Glycol USP
  • Monopropylene Glycol
  • Monopropylene Glycol (BP Grade)
  • PolyPropylene Glycol (can I somehow break this polymer and make it work as PG?)
From what I know of PG, its a toxin so I don't want to take any chances with this one.

Any help is welcome!

Thank you.

essential depot sells PG. as far as i know, it's called just PG (i'm not chem savvy btw).

you can also make a mp base using only glycerine. search for a thread about this subject in this sub-forum, there's a tutorial for it.
