So, to make a very long story short, my beautiful cat Middy (1/2 of the gay couple if you read the recent thread) had a few operations on his stomach some years ago, and can no longer reach behind himself to groom as well as he used to. He also attacks anyone who comes near him with a brush, so if left untended he will develop lots of matting in his fur that gets hot + makes it difficult for him to move.
Being the intrepid young pet owner that I am, I decided to the best way to deal with his lack of cooperation regarding the brushing was to get the bugger shaved. :twisted: It worked, and now his bi-annual shave has become something of a humorous event in my family. I thought I'd share it with you all.

As you can see, he is very pleased with his new look.
I'll tell you, that groomer is a miracle worker. Every time I pick him up I expect someone to have shed blood, but so far both parties have remained unscathed!
