We all know how hard it is testing each and every product we make. I mean, who has time to test New Soap A, Body Butter B, and Sugar Scrub C all in one day? I know I'm laboring away testing my current bubble bar recipe.. it's such hard work! ;) What are you testing?

It's tough work, but somebody's got to do it! LOL

I'm testing out a new recipe for bubbling bath salts tonight. You know, in the name of science. ;-)

Ooh, those sound intriguing! Like bubble bubbles or fizzy bubbles? Lol

They're supposed to bubble, but we'll see... I added some liquid bastile soap to epsom salts (along with some other oils and fragrance) and I'm drying them out now. I'll be curious to see if I can get some bubbles out of the deal!

That would be a really awesome feature if it works. I'll cross my fingers for you!

WOW! Are all those bubbles from a soap bar? I wouldn't get that many if I used half a bottle of bubble bath! I have hard water so Im sure that has a lot to do with it.

Dana: No its not a soap bar, it's a bubble bar. They're basically a solid bubble bath. There's no soap in my recipe, but synthetics like SLSa and coco betaine. I'm not sure how hard water would effect the bubbles as I dont have hard water.

My recipe is based off of this one - http://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.com/education/recipes/lemon-bubble-cakes.aspx

In the picture, I'd used about 1 ounce of bubble bar.

And chocolate... Chocolate constantly needs to be heavily tested. ;-)

Absolutely. Quality assurance and all that jazz...

I'm testing a facial lotion right now (batch #3), and I've been testing the same facial scrub cleanser since January - I mean, I made a 4oz jar because I knew having a baby would limit the time I had to make and experiment with things, and I did NOT expect my facial scrub cleanser to last this long..

You got some nice bubbles off of that bar! Pity the time spent testing it out. ;)

I've got hard water, but just this week installed a water softener so really need to make some bars for testing with my smancy-new micro-gravel-free water.

As an aside, why can't WSP stop it with the cutesy names. "Bubble Bar Hardener" should be referred to as cream of tartar or even Potassium Bitartrate if they want to science it up. Why call Cocamidopropyl Betaine "Bubble UP". That drives me bonkers when I order something from them and have to keep a cross reference in my supply box.

It's because they want you to think that you can only buy it from them I would assume. If you don't take the time to figure out what each is, a Google search for Bubble Bar Hardener or Bubble Up and their website is what pulls up.
