I heard that Tea Tree EO was excellent for dandruff so I made this yesterday for my son who has tried everything for his dandruff most shampoos work for awhile but he seems to get immune to them plus they are not cheap. So I thought I would try my hand at making some myself. The scent is very strong to me and is not my favorite but if it works for him it will be worth it. Oh yeah I also used powdered goats milk my first time trying that.

I LOVE the way it looks. I can't wait to see if it works! I haven't used tea tree oil yet. I was shocked when I saw how expensive it was! It's the first oil I bought before I ever even made soap and it was $10 at Wegmans. I thought "oh, I probably only need a few drops." When I saw that soap recipes used like an ounce ppo I almost fell over. That's when I decided to use FO's rather than EO's. :)

I am planning on using a mix of FOs and EOs. I like them both for various things, some depends on how they both work out for me and with the soaps I am making.
