Someone gave me a small jar of this and all that is listed on the label is the following:

Shea Butter and Olive Oil. No contact name or anything.

I'm sorry if this will gross you out but I had a small sore inside of one of my nostrils. I put a tiny amount of this butter in there a few times and it has cleared up in two days. I've also slathered it on my hands and they feel great even if a little greasy after applying.

Can someone help me with a recipe for making this on my own? Also, how much TT would be added.

Thanks!

60% shea butter, 39% olive oil, 1% tea tree oil

My favorite way, lately, is to just soften the shea and beat the oil in with my stick blender. It doesn't get fluffy but it mixes beautifully and stays creamy.

(and shea butter is the BEST thing for your nose when it gets all nasty from a cold - it heals the cracks and the peeling and (I swear) even those nasty zits from the irritation)

I think just straight shea butter will get you where you want to go though.

Yep, I would use 66% shea butter, 33% olive oil, 1% tea tree oil. Pretty much the same.
