A La Madison makes a Yuzu Lime liquid soap that smells incredibly real.....and yes it’s scented with essential oils. None of my grapefruit, lime, or even orange eo’s smell that tart. Do you know a company or type of citrus eo’s that is really tart smelling? Any fo’s?

The ingredient label says: fragrance blend with plant extracts and/or essential oils.

Did you want EO or FO? Your post topic says FO, but post says EO.

For EO I found NDA key lime to be quite tart. The last citrus soap I did I used that with a bit of litsea, lemon and orange, and it's holding well and quite tart.
For FO maybe try wsp blood orange.

I find bergamot to be pretty tart usually -- maybe you could try mixing it with some orange or lime?

amd, I'll use either eo or fo. I'm just looking for that realistic tartness of a sliced citrus fruit. Is this the one you tried: peru key lime?
Advance Product Search Have you tried any of their grapefruit eo's?

lsg; I haven't found yuzu essential oil I like yet, but if I order from NDA I'll try their's.

Thanks everyone!

Yes, that's the EO that I use. It sticks well in CP and some cream soap I made, so I imagine it will stick well in LS too. The cream soap I used it in everyone thought smelled like a margarita - that sharp lime, not boozy I mean.

I have not used any of their grapefruit EO's.
