thanks everybody for your interest! well here it is....first thing i did when i got home from work was to excitedly unmold and cut it....it smells divinely of lavendar and my daughter think it looks good enough to eat....
i used a silcone loaf pan mold (1/2 soap recipe...about 2.5 lbs) and it was just right. i put a sheet of freezer paper on top right after i poured and i think that i'm not going to have much of the ash this time....
