Here is my yucky swirl attempt. I hate this soap. I was imagining an almond joy type bar and ended up with blah!

I scented it with Autumn Harvest, which had vanilla. I didn't think about what it would do to the soap. I think I'll give this away to my male relatives.

It's smells like cinnamon and spices.

looks very nice...swirls on top are great...i'm not very accomplished in swirls yet so i can't recommend what to do other than to pour from a height if this is a poured swirl...what technique did you use for swirling?

Nothing wrong with that soap! It might not be what you expected, but it has a nice look to it. :) I bet it smells wonderful. I just love cinnamon and spice fos.

Keep up the good work!!

what technique did you use for swirling?

Technique?? just kidding. Well, I tried to pour from high up and tried to have a light trace.

I couldn't tell how far down the brown soap went in. Then I used a chopstick and went up on down one length and then swirled it width wise.

I was winging it. I should definitely read more about how to swirl. I just wish I could see inside my soap!

Whether it's what you had in mind or not, I think it's beautiful soap! No one would ever know you didn't plan it just like it is. :)

x

i agree with everyone else! that's nice soap!

this is the ZEN of soaping-it created it's own dynamic!

like planting a mixture of seeds and watering it-you never know quite what's going to pop up!

i think it looks yummy, i ve tried swirls numerous times, still trying!

It looks great! Looks like you got good penetration with the brown soap. Went almost half way down, which is way better than what I've gotten thus far.

Thank you thank you! Way too kind. My husband said he wants to put whipped cream with a cherry on top and eat it.
