After reading the epic posts about shaving soap and certain additives, I went about tweaking my current recipe, which my husband loves. He didn’t seem so impressed with my video. I slipped this sliver slice into his shave mug and hope he has a good reaction. I’ll know more tomorrow.
We have crazy hard water and while our recipes are pretty lathery, I wanted to boost it more! So I added in citric acid and whoa, I think it made a difference. I should have taken a control pic of the original recipe and maybe I will tomorrow. But, ohhhhh, this is just a lovely head of soap. The pic is after 20 minutes standing. Don’t mind my subpar brush. I didn’t want to mess up my hub’s good one.
