Sunset Crescent

Sunset Crescent is what I’m calling this batch.
Still working to perfect this technique, per my vision, but I’m still super pleased with these! You ever watch a glorious pink and orange sunset and how it changes so fast?! That’s what I thought of cutting these, as each one is a bit different. I also love seeing the moon out when it’s still daylight! When I lived in HI my Hawaiian culture teacher told us that we shouldn’t make any big decisions on those days, because even the sun and moon can’t decide if it’s night or day.
The hologram glitter on top is made from cellulose, plant material, and completely biodegradable. thanks to @nurturesoap
Scented with orange, ylang ylang, litsea, and cedar they somehow kind of smell like they look.
Hopefully I can eventually calculate the right volume of batter to fill the molds with this design.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm sorry if I missed it somewhere else, did you use a scraper for your mountains? I have the holo glitter from Nurture too and it is so pretty. These are gorgeous

I made a somewhat janky scraper with an xacto knife and an old plastic lid.

Cool! I have an idea that is probably way to complicated for someone who has not yet tried a scraper, and tried to cut it out of cardboard box. The cardboard is so beat up just from cutting it that I haven't dared to try it on soap. I will have to try a plastic lid. I had not thought of that! Great idea and you did great on this soap!

@tommysgirl this is the 6th batch I’ve used this same scraper for. I have a pyrography machine, and i may try to use it to make a better scraper. It’ll be stinky, but if I am outside, I think it could work!
