Sunblock question

I am going to be making some sunblock to take on a mission trip and was wondering if anyone knew how much to use. I was wanting a higher spf than 20. Do I just add more than 2 T per batch?

If you use 25% Zinc Oxide you'll get about 15 SPF, you cannot however sell it that way. I make it for my family but don't make it to sell because I don't want to make any claims....

Oh I won't be selling this either. Just for me and my family. How would I get more than say 15 spf? Do I use a higher percent? I guess I should have said I will be using zinc oxide powder in my original question. My brain is slow tonight!

Well if 15 SPF requires 25% Zinc Oxide then you would just need to do the math to take it to whatever it is you're wanting. For instance 30 SPF is going to be 50%.
