Thank you very much. I love modern abstract art and I finally nailed. IMO LOL.Congratulations! It looks like a painted sunset!
ThanksVery pretty!
Thank you.Wonderful!! Love your colors
I had a lot of not so great trys but it I think I found a recipe that is perfect for intricate designs but also a great cleaning soap. However I would rather have a great cleaning soap over a pretty one. Now I have both.... and experimenting! Gotta be willing to have some flops before you have the masterpieces.
Me too. Now I don't have to look at all the wonderful looking soaps that everyone posts and wish I could make one myself lol.I love it when a plan comes together!!
Thank you very much. This has given me some renewed energy for creating some more intricate soap designs.Good job and great scent Choice!
I love it when it goes the way I want it too, as thats often not the case in my studio!
Thank you very much.Very nice, Todd, congrats!
Yes, I kept trying. Only to realize that I didn't have confidence in myself to get it right. Those are beautiful Todd, see persistence pays off.
I NEEDED TO HEAR THIS.Thank you very much. I am really excited because now I know I can do some really pretty soaps. My patience and listening or reading people's posts really paid off.
If any person who is new to soap making reads this post, patience and listening to the advice of people with experience is really important.
I have had success in making soap that cleaned really well but it wasn't until I trusted myself and the recipe, then decided it was failure or success and so I stuck to my plan and followed through with it. I realized it was me who was holding things back. It will happen. Just find a recipe that gives you about 15 minutes or more of play time and you will get what you want.I NEEDED TO HEAR THIS.
Seriously. I've been pretty down on myself lately because none of my soaps so far have turned out the way I saw them in my head. But I'm still learning and this forum has been a great help.
And that is a beautiful soap!!
Fantastic colours, which red did you use?I finally got a a soap to look like it did in my mind.
It’s a abstract version of a "Sailor's Warning" sunset. I used star shower FO.
I am so happy!
Thank you very much. That was a blend of, really red, orange marmalade and neon deep orange red all from nurture soap.Fantastic colours, which red did you use?
