I am not familiar with kelp beads. When I Google it, all I get are results for kelp colored glass beads. Do you have a link to the product you're wanting to use?

This is true. I'm still intrigued though. I want to know what kelp beads are, and what their purpose is.

Do you mean these? They are called Kelp granules, and can be sprinkled onto soaps, or in soaps and scrubs as an exfoliation. I would think they could substitue Jojoa beads when it comes to the decorating part, but these will NOT dissolve, like Jojoba beads can over time using a soap.
