Substatute for avocado oil?

I need to make more shampoo bars but I'm about 4 oz short of avocado oil and no place sells it locally. What would be a good substitute that might be easier to find? I was thinking about sunflower since the local grocery store just started selling it, I also have peanut oil.

When I need to sub I try and find a oil with a fatty acid profile as close as I can get to the one I'm replacing. This won't help with all the nice extra goodies in avocado oil but you should be able to get close.

So you can see the olive oil is the most similar, just substitute the avocado oil for olive oil. Almond oil is also very similar to olive and avocado, but a bit pricier of a choice.

Peanut looks to be close for conditioning but does squat for bubbles. Is hardness a consideration? Sunflower is lovely in soap.

there is already a high amount of OO in the recipe so I wanted something different. Decided against the peanut oil since its prone to rancidity. I went ahead and got the sunflower oil. I plugged it into my recipe and it didn't change much but gave higher conditioning. I figure if I don't like the finished bars, I can always use it on the dogs.

I've made bars with sunflower oil and I really like the way they turned out.

I've heard it make a nice soap so I've been wanting to try it for some time, this was a good excuse to buy some. I got my batch made and scented with frankincense & myrrh. I changed my mind about using it on the dogs, if its not good for my hair, I will use it this winter on my dry skin.
