I know it is not very christmas-y, but I’ve been wanting to make this Strawberry bar for ages now! Took alot of prep time and practice. First time making my own embeds and piping.

The hearts in the middle were a surprise, but a very welcome one! I love it, totally ties the design together.

Only thing I’m not very excited about is that there formed some see trough gel like parts in between my piping? It looks wet and a little sticky.. what is this? Some kind of glycerine pile up? I don’t know.. is it safe to use when cured? Help me please! Would be so dissapointing if I have to toss or rebatch this one..

Your guess about a glycerin pile up was close- we call them glycerin rivers. They are just a cosmetic issue and do not impact the safety of the soap. I should add that technically glycerin rivers have nothing to do with glycerin.
They can form when the soap heats up and then has a long time to cool off. Some people love them and try to get them on purpose, some people don't like them and try to avoid them.
You can read more about them here:

Thats exactly what happend in my proces thank you so much for clarifying 😁 Now I know what to avoid doing in the future.

Lovely bars and nice work on the embeds! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder (which, hahahaha, I just read is what DeeAnna wrote in her article). I think the glycerin rivers add to the look, rather than detract, by making the piping look very realistic to whipped cream! Since the glycerin rivers will likely recede over time, leaving gaps that are no longer sticky, you might find you don't mind them once these bars cure. :)

Very pretty. I haven't tried piping yet, even though I got a Wilton set last year for Christmas.

Really incredible work there -- love the tops!
I can't really see the glycerin rivers in your soap and it's really beautiful. I am one of the people that do not like glycerin rivers. After getting them one time -- and didn't even know to use the term 'glycerin rivers' -- I learned a lot from this forum. Now when I use titanium dioxide, I soap below 100 degrees F, and my lye to lye+liquid ratio is 32.5%. Works like a charm and I haven't gotten glycerin rivers ever since. Gift recipients of my rivered soap didn't complain but complimented me on my "technique," LOL.
