I have a question about how you bottle your soap after you make a batch. Do you pour your soap out in jars at the time they are made, and let them set up there, or do you store them in a pastry bag/container until it's time to use?

I made my first batch last night, and upon suggestion I read somewhere, I left it in a container overnight to see if the consistency was what I wanted. Now it's nice and firm and won't easily fill up the jars. I guess I'll warm it up and pour it again, and hope for the best!

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

I have never warmed FBB before whipping. I whip it as is & have to spoon it into jars (or pipe).

I have been looking for a supplier of FBB. Where are you guys getting yours? I have looked for it everywhere I know of.

Thanks, Tabitha! It seems half of the places I look say to heat it up and the other half says nothing about it. I saw where the formula changed recently to paraben free, so maybe the warm up recommendation went away with the new formula?

Scout, I bought mine at The Chemistry Store, but I'm going to re-order from NuScents next time, if their shipping doesn't break the deal. They are $17 cheaper on a 25 pound box! (And same brand of product)

Thanks Butterscotch, I looked at the chemistry store, but apparently not in the right place. I have never heard of nuscents, i am going to check them out. I am thinking of making a scrub with it.
