Just looked it up, in Australia you need a licence to keep frogs, geckos, reptiles etc
Just curious, how long do frogs live ?

How is Sticky doing? Hope she is eating well now
Freddie loves the bugs and I have more than 12 now after feeding him 2-3 per day. Think there might be a female in the bunch  might be okay and keep them going for awhile if I don't feed her to him

She never did start to eat so I returned her to the pet store today. She was just now starting to loose weight, not sure how she managed on only a few crickets for the last month.

I found a local breeder who only feeds prepared foods, no insects at all. He has eggs hatching in the next week or two so hopefully I'll have a baby before christmas.

Its infuriating when pet stores don't take proper care of reptiles. Its not like its difficult or overly time consuming.

Yes it is. I remember an Iguana I rescued years ago. The poor baby had lost half her toes due to malnutrition. They were only feeding her iceberg lettuce, so I offered to take her or call animal control. They gave her to me and she got well although stunted growth and I found her a nice home, where she lived out her life. Really angers me. My granddaughter is wanting a gecko and I am thinking about it

Freddie is doing fantastic and getting bluer.

@cmzaha look at this! I decided to go look at the baby cresties the breeder had and walked away with a little gargoyle gecko instead.
I've always wanted a gargoyle, they are so chubby and cute. He/she is only 2 months.

Thank you, I am quite smitten with him. They are supposes to be mellower than a crestie, hoping he will tame easily once I can handle him.
I'm also happy to announce that he ate last night. There is the tiniest little lick spot in his food paste. That was fantastic to see.
