Ok, I know it is only January but February is a short month so I figured I would get a jump on making a soap for St Patties Day! I made it this morning quickly before going to my boring day job. I wanted to do a spoon in swirl so I planned ahead for once and prepared my liquid oils last night and put those in the fridge to chill them so my temps would stay low so I would have time to play.

Full water and checked NGs reviews on the FOs I had of theirs to determine what would work. I buy the 1oz bottles to try their scents so I had to mix two scents so I went with NG Amber Romance and their Green Irish Tweed. White Sparkle Mica from WSP and 24k Gold Mica from them as well with a little matte yellow oxide. The green is vibrance green from Nurture with a pinch of the matte yellow oxide.

This recipe was so wonderfully workable and I was so excited and cannot wait to cut it tomorrow. I'm really trying to practice patience with unmolding and cutting too early. I CPOPed it for 20 minutes when I got home from work today just to push it along. Don't know if it will do anything because once the timer hit 20 I checked it and could see little oil beads on a corner, so I took it out and set it on top of the stove. Cut pics to follow :) ImageUploadedBySoap Making1390537755.700544.jpg

Just cut. Will look a lot better after a good cure and being cleaned up but I am happy with the colors and swirls :)
