Here's a couple pictures of the hot process soaps I made yesterday. I plan to update the thread as I go along, negating the need for multiple threads.

Oatmeal, milk, and honey hot process. Used a Pringles can for the mold =P

TTO soap that smells utterly amazing, also HP. I used the bottom of an empty family sized Lucky Charms box for these, lel.

Lovely I love the experimentation with different molds. Oatmeal containers make good molds, too. Those big round ones. Some have a waxy inside, so you don't even have to line them. If you fill the oatmeal container though it can be a pain in the butt to cut the soap afterwards because it's so big and round.

Haha, I was actually eyeballing my oatmeal container for that purpose xD Good to know it will work!

Nice soaps! I bet they smell great! I bought Pringles just for the can which I plan to use tomorrow for Chamomile shampoo bars. I've read you have to peel the can off, but wonder if it can be lined with waxed paper and reused? I have the paper in it ready and waiting. Old wooden sewing machine drawers work great for molds lined with waxed paper also.

Next day edit: I found out a Pringles can may be used more than once if lined with waxed paper. You have to pound it hard but the soap eventually comes out nicely. Oh, and I cut the top ring off and put a circle of waxed paper in the bottom which may have helped. Answered my own question!

But seriously, I love your soaps. You've done such a great job! Oatmeal looks great, I bet it smells heavenly.

I stayed up all night making MP soap, so have a picdump.

This was made using the new LCP stuff I was asking about a few weeks back. Overall, I liked the performance of it.

That is Lullaby for a Princess.

This is just some leftover Lullaby that I poured to use for myself :3

Her Honest Face. Goat's milk MP.

I have no name for this yet. It's a nice, fruity, very light scented soap with three different colored pastel swirls. MP.

Her Generous Works. Shea butter soap.

Winter Wrap Up. Goat's milk.

It's just so much safer for me sometimes-I can do HP, CP, CPOP etc when my son is with his father, but that's only on the weekends, so melt and pour for the rest of the week! I REALLY don't want him getting near my lye, I refuse to take it out when he's around. If I had it my way I'd probably do mostly HP, but thems the breaks.

Working on it! Just need to make a few graphics to put up for banners and get over this massive, crippling fear I have of opening the shop for realsies.

So do I! This has inspired me to go dig through the closet where I have some MP base stored until I order more lye.
I love the shapes of the bars, and the colors are so pretty!

Muffins and Bubbles soap. Hot process. It smells like blueberry muffins with a whiff of ozone

I have also opened my shop and made my first sale, I'm so excited ^_^
