I just realized that I didn’t have any of my soap pictures uploaded! Anyone else make wine soap?

do you use wine instead of the water or partial wine or are they scents?

I boil the alcohol out and freeze the wine, then add the wine ice cubes to my lye water after the lye is dissolved. It gets all orange and stinky, but doesn't stink in the bars! It actually ends up smelling like wine! I just use regular fragrance oils, some wine scented, some champagne just depending on whatever the bar is named.. I guess they can be compared to beer soap or goat's milk soap, each leaving behind a feint aroma of whatever is used in the recipe!

when boiling out the alcohol do you use a whole bottle or do you have some to drink while doing it?
