Sodium Gluconate in CP Soap

Hello!
I wanted to know if anyone has worked with Sodium Gluconate in CP Soap. If so, has it helped make your soaps last longer without rancidity or DOS? And how does one use it in the recipe?

@cmzaha uses 0.5% SG + 0.5% EDTA in all her soaps. I plan to follow her lead very soon, but I just have not got around to it as yet.

I started with 0.5% SG + 0.5% EDTA per batch weight, but I'm getting a little soap scum so my next batch I'm increasing to 0.8% SG and keeping EDTA at 0.5%. I used to use 2.25% Sodium Citrate with good results.
