Hello everyone! My name is Stephanie and I have been doing MP soap for about 6 months and just started CP and HP soap. I would really like to sell my soaps in the future but right now I am just trying to learn. Seems like there are a lot of knowledgeable soapers on here so I can't wait to learn some tricks! Happy soaping

Hi Stephanie and welcome! I've never tried MP before and have only been doing CP and HP soap for about 5 months. This is a great place to learn and share!

MP is good if you need to make something quick since it doesn't have to cure, and they harden pretty quick. I put them in the mold and let them cool a little on the counter until they harden a little and then pop them in the freezer. I got in to MP because I wanted to get away from soaps with SLS and those other pesky chemicals but it took sometime to find bases without those. If that matters to you, Yaley's Soapsations is a good all vegetable glycerin base that is easy to melt down in a double boiler or microwave. It's not as fulfilling as CP or HP but still fun
