I've been looking around for a few days, in the hopes of finding a wrapping method that will preserve the tops of my whipped soap bars, and while there are plenty of ideas out there, none of them have tickled my 'that's it!' spot. How does everyone wrap theirs? I'm sure there are lots of great ways here, as there are so many extremely talented and crafty sorts here!
I'm going to be shipping my soaps, so I'm looking for something protective, yet not going to wreck the tops. I've tried shrink wrap bands and bags, and even with just 2 or 3 second bursts, the tops melt slightly (no, I'm not holding the heat gun too close :silent: ). I have a ton of the standard cut-out cardboard boxes my son helped me throw together, but they don't fit the size of the bars. Right now, the only thought I've come up with is wrapping them in plastic wrap, and then tying them into fabric squares. It doesn't look horrible, but I'd like it more if I could find a way that still shows off the tops a bit.
