Soap without Coconut Oil

I'm curious to know if this possible? Has anyone tried it? What would you sub in?

Yup it's possible I do it all the time. I use palm kernel instead. PKO gives basically the same properties to soap as coconut oil.

i have done this also,without really subbing anything like it, little less lather but still very conditioning soap, and creamy

Yep- PKO. I have a formula with no coconut, but PKO instead , and it lathers great!

Both babassu and PKO are good CO subs. However castille doesn't use any of them.

I use a mix of Babassu and CO but you could certainly sub Babassu and omit the CO.
