Hi,
does anybody make soap with zinc (ZnO)? I read that soap with zinc should be good for acne, but I'm not sure, if such soap should be safety.

Sure. I use it to make a lighter color for swirled batches of soap.

I have no idea about it's usefulness for acne, but as long as you're using Pharmacy grade zinc I think it'll be safe.

Hi GardenGirl:
I want to buy some pyrthione zinc, where did you buy it?
I have seborrheic dermatitis and have bought some "Calming Zinc Cleansing soap from Dr. Cynthia Bailey but seeing that I make soap I thought maybe I could make some .
Thanks,

Ok, insider secret to my company here...

Echinaccia and pumpkin seed essential oil...

Maybe some witch hazel to improve heat transference, making you sweat a bit less.

I don't understand what this has to to with the post?

You can get zinc oxide at brambleberry's.

I meant it in regards to an anti-acne. Zinc Oxide would work to a degree, don't get me wrong, but soap working the way it naturally does makes it difficult to get oxidized metals to absorb into the skin. In essence, I was answering a different question. Not to say it's not a worthwhile ingredient, and should have probably been a PM in regards to keeping this thread on topic.
