Soap using Baobab Oil

I accidentally received Baobab oil instead of Black Raspberry Seed oil. Amazon let me keep it but I am having difficulty finding a cold process recipe that references the oil not the powder. Does anyone here have a tested one?

Oooo, I use that to make conditioner bars for my hair, and it's wonderful! Maybe make some of those with it?

Because it is on the pricey side, I've never tried it in soap, sorry. If you do soap with it, the calculator says that it's primary FAs are palmitic 24, oleic 37, and linoleic 28. With that high linoleic, I'd probably keep it to 10% or so, and use it in place of some OO, sunflower, or safflower oil.

Baobab oil can actually be a nice find. It's packed with nutrients and can add some great moisturizing properties to your soap.

A simple recipe you could try is to use it alongside coconut and palm oils—maybe something like 30% olive oil, 25% coconut oil, 25% palm oil, and 20% baobab oil
