I made a big mistake I packed all my soaps away that I have left from making soap these past 2 years in my shed outside in 2 medium boxes. Well I opened the boxes to get more soap out and to my surprise all my soaps are sweating little beads of oil and they feel wet or damp so I'm guessing that the weather getting really cold and then hot again must be causing this. So I'm wondering have I ruined all my soaps or will my soap reabsorb the oil in a warm dry setting. Thanks- lots

It sounds like your soaps have gone through some temperature fluctuations, which can cause sweating or the oil to be released. Don’t worry, this isn’t necessarily a disaster! The good news is that your soap should be fine. Simply place them in a warm, dry area with good airflow. Over time, the soap will likely reabsorb the oils. Just make sure to keep them in a place where they won’t get exposed to extreme heat or humidity again as that can cause more issues. With a little patience, they should return to normal!

Oh thank you I have them in side now and they seem to be ok there is a little oil on them but I'm going to just leave them alone to see if the bars reabsorb it. I was going to try wiping or washing them but I'm going to just leave them be now. Well at least I learnt not to store my soap outside in the shed. Haha
