Soap size

I don’t know if anyone can help me?
It’s regarding the size of soap, apart from the shape of a soap - what would the ideal thickness need to be? I’ve been cutting mine at 2cm being 6/8 inch but the more I look at them they seem not quite thick enough? Thanks

Think it depends on personal preference, I've seen soaps at 100g and others at 200-250g,

The answer is prob somewhere in the middle

Yes, just weighed my bars and they aren’t quite 100gr so I think I’ll make that cut a bit thicker! Thanks

I cut mine at 1"

Thanks! Exactly what I thought of doing, from 6/8” to 1”
I was previously following the line on the cutter.

1" or 1.25" seems to be the most common from what I've seen. I usually cut 1.25".

Thanks, may I ask the width and length of your soap, or do you do various shapes and sizes at 1.25”?

I cut mine at 1 1/4 inch.

I try for the most part to keep my soaps at 3.5 x 2.5 x 1.25.

I cut mine at 1.25" Average weight of my soaps is 5.5 oz

Thankyou very much everyone! I’ve definitely got more of an idea now. Just worried my soap bars would look odd. Unfortunately when you give someone a soap they aren’t going to tell you the soap is a bit thin or small etc! much appreciated!
