Changed my search and found it. Bought the upgrade and all my recipes were still there. Yay! I’m super grateful for that thing!! All the mystery maths handled, I can just do the making part. Whoever made that calculator is a wizard and a genius, and i love them!
Here’s some soaps I managed to make even though April was insanely busy! (Turkey season!) Also, my deer tallow soap from last years deer season is ready and packaged. Does goat milk soap really have to breath if it open air cured for 2+ months?
There is my bath bomb master batching session half way through.
And, a hunting friend of mine gave me some elk tallow that I triple rendered and have stored until she and I can make some soap.

Does goat milk soap really have to breath if it open air cured for 2+ months?

I have never heard this, would like to know more info if anybody else can chime in.

Weird my soaps got moved. I see other people post soaps in “what soapy thing I did today”. Can anyone explain the difference so I don’t make that mistake again?

Tasha, personally I like to post here. I frequently search here for myself to remind myself about old recipes. Just my 2 cents.

I do get the benefit! I usually post here when I’ve done a proper photo shoot and not when I’ve just cut a soap. Just wondering what the criteria is. Oh well…

Yeah, I always post my cuts on what soapy thing. I don't understand either.

I think they are trying to encourage people to post pics in the Photo Gallery bc the Soapy Thing thread is so long and hard to peruse. Plus then there are all the comments that follow the picture, which really aren't "soapy thing" posts - they are replies to other posts. When the conversation gets long enough, like this one, it makes sense to move it to its own thread.

What soapy thread is about text on what soapy thing have you done today until people started posting photos there ( they shouldn't be there ), once one person started posting photos in there everyone followed. The photo gallery is there for that reason to show photos of soap made not the what soapy thing have you done today.If you go back to the 1st post there it's only text. The photo gallery was not being used and I'm just trying to get back to that. So if I see photos in there I move them to the Photo Gallery where they should be.

Sorry, just re-read your post. I think this question should go in the beginners forum. Maybe the Lye forum since you are experienced. Not sure. Maybe an admin can direct you.
