Soap pot weekend 3/11/11 - 3/13/11

Finally, a productive day for me.

I made deodorants in:

■ lemon lavender
■ rose
■ coconut bayrum
■ satuma
■ candy apple
■ clean laundry
■ green tea & cucumber
■ olive blossom

Whathave you made or plan to make?

I just whipped up a batch of lemon cupcakes. The soap gremlins were here yesterday and messed up my peppermint batch. Since my Dad will be here in a couple of weeks with my new cutter, I'm holding off on any logs.

In what part of Texas are you?

I haven't made soap in about 2 weeks! I need to do some this weekend. I got one of those vertical molds from BB I need to try out.

I just made liquid soap last night. My 3rd attempt and it looks like it worked. The soap is clear and it is diluting in my croc pot right now. This is all for right now because I am out of castor.

Bacliff is halfway between Houston and Galveston, near Kemah. I'm about twelve blocks from the bay.

Still keeping my fingers crossed that this batch of cupcakes turns out. I think maybe I made a mistake using the paper liners. ARRGGG
