Hey everyone!

I am looking for a good slab or tray mold that has dividers to make multiple guest size bars, can anyone recomend a good company that has a mold like this?
Not the decorative type, plain hand bar rectangle.

thanks,

Tait

I read on a thread (hey that rymes!) that you can use the small dog food containers from cesares (sp). Actually I like the Old Roy's container better with no ridges. I have been collecting them only so far. I think I need to add some glycerin so they pop out easily...

I was actually going to try salt bars in them first. Any suggestions from anyone?

WSP it is not a the type where you pour and then add a divider, but a silicon mold with individual cavities. Makes 2 oz bars.

I like bite size silicone brownie molds. Perfect size!

Have you ever had any issues with the color of the mold bleeding into the soap? I have one of those molds and was going to get another one or two but I started out by putting the rest of my soap batter into silicone heart molds (very similar to the brownie ones), but the color bleeds into the soap, even after washing them numerous times in the dishwasher. :/

I know ebay.uk sell them...I bought one, don't know if this is any use to you, but there stands a chance that ebay.u.s sells the same :)

I also use these and I have never had problems with bleeding into my soaps but I don't put mine in the dw I wash these by hand. Mine is a brown colored brownie bite size tray also just to clarify.

guest soap mold

Bramble Berry has the 9 bar divider mold, and you can get additional dividers to make 18 bars. I am considering it for myself. I like what I have now, though, and it's a one pound slab from Soap Mold Superstore. It makes little rectangular bars with grid lines, and it is one inch deep. It's a bit deeper than the 15 bar slab from Milky Way, and this one makes eight bars. I use my crinkle cutter to cut them up, and the bars are the same weight as a couple of other Mold Market individual guest molds that I have.

What about lining a simple box and only pouring until they're a 1/2" thick then cut to size. The post office has free 12"x12" boxes you could line fairly easily and make your own dividers from the box flaps, wrapped in freezer paper or waxed paper.

Or hit the dollar store for the individual rectangle silicone molds.

Hope that helps. :)

And edit again lol. I just found this site: http://www.espremiumproducts.com/Soap-Molds.html I could go broke buying molds there LOL
