When I mail soap cross-country in the summer, is there any way to protect against it melting while sitting in metal post office trucks through 100 degree+ weather?

If your soap is melting, and it isn't melt and pour, then it hasn't cured enough. If it is commercial made melt and pour, meaning it is not handmade translucent soap, I can only think you will need to pack it with dry ice or some sort of coolant. Hand made translucent soap should not melt.

CP or HP soap shouldn't melt. In high humidity or heat you may get droplets of glycerin on the surface but that isn't melting. You can either wipe it off or let it soak back in.

HP and CP

It will be HP and CP. But when I do make M&P, that will have a high likelihood of melting you think?
