soap heating up?

I put my batch in the freezer around 3pm yesterday immediately after making it. Stayed there til 10pm and was moved to the fridge. It's now in my closet the last 7 hrs or so (has an ac vent in it) and I went to check. It's warm, like the mold and soap. Normal? Back to fridge? It's a gm soap with 1 tbs ppo sugar added. I was trying to avoid gel. I also know freezing slows saponofication, so being in room temp I am assuming that's what sped up? It's a tiny 20oz bb silicone loaf mold btw. For the record, I put it back in the fridge til I hear from some posters, but it has to come out eventually....right?! I bet it gelled a little already. Doh!
And I forgot to pour the top layer onto a spatula to avoid disrupting the pencil line. Now this

I've made Goat Milk a Number of times now and I leave it in the freezer overnight and then take it out and let it come to room temperature. I have had no problems with that heating up as long as I do this process every time.

I do want to clarify that it isn't what you call "overheating" (the next day no less), but it is heating up and is warm to the touch.
Thx dalewaite. I've read so many different things, and think it was obsidian on here that said 12 hrs freeze, 12 fridge. So I pulled it out the freezer before bed and placed it in the refrigerator. I may be wrong on who who the person was that said that.

You're way sounds good too. I am just thinking the saponofication speeds up at room temp after being slowed during freezing....but how do I avoid the off chance of gelling. Maybe it won't heat enough the next day TO gel. I haven't read it warming like this 24 hrs later in all my readings on soaping, so I thought I'd ask.


side note...
Soaping, I've learned, has a million different techniques for each element. Hard to choose the best. I'm keeping notes, however, to try and improve my issues and techniques.
