I've used a veggie peeler in the past, and it worked fine. My curls weren't of consistent thickness by any means, but that's due to my lack of fine motor skills which results in an inability to cut anything in a straight or consistent manner. In other words, I don't think changing tools would have helped me. However, till reading your post, [USER=35112]@MelissaG[/USER], I had never considered using my Hercules to shave off thin slices from the top, that were then cut to size. Doh!Hmmm maybe it is time for a soap curls challenge here on SMF!
